Tim Edgecombe

 

Tim is a graduate of The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture) and an MBA.

Also boasting more than 25 years of marketing, general management and project investment experience – primarily in agriculture and associated sectors – Tim has held senior positions in some of Australia’s leading agribusinesses including General Fertilisers, Namoi Cotton, AWB, and Elders.

Tim has extensive experience in corporate planning and strategy development. He was a member of CUB’s Corporate Planning and Investment team. He ran AWB’s International Project Investment Division where he was responsible for joint venture flour milling and grain storage projects in Egypt, Vietnam and China. He later developed and promoted the strategic initiative that led to the acquisition of Landmark from Wesfarmers in 2003.

His extensive general management experience includes State General Manager (Victoria/Tasmania) positions with Elders Ltd and more recently with Medibank Private. In the former role he was responsible for marketing a range of financial services to regional and rural clients.

Tim retains a strong interest in the current trends in sustainable agriculture, biotech, and related fields. He is passionate about helping emerging companies source funding to develop new ideas and technologies.

He has been assisting companies with R&D Tax Incentive applications since the company was incorporated in 2010.
